The new book by Bogdan Sushinsky, a famous writer, author of the 20-volume epic "War of Empires" and many other historical and adventure works, continues the series "Secrets of History. Third Reich". The first story of this publication is about the fate of Hitler's field headquarters "Werewolf", which was created in Ukraine, a few kilometers from Vinnitsa. Few people know that it was here that the plans of the German command regarding the Stalingrad and Kursk battles, an offensive in the Caucasus and the northern coast of the Caspian Sea were born. But, perhaps, the most intriguing and unknown secret of the Third Reich should be considered the operation associated with the search for Shambhala and establishing connections with the highest initiates, that is, with a certain Higher Power, the personification of which is the King of Terror, a kind of secret "ruler of the world." Another story is devoted to attempts to create in the Alps a powerful, vast fortified area, at first called in the secret documents of the Reich "National Redoubt", and then "Alpine Fortress". The Fuhrer ordered his personal agent for special assignments, Otto Skorzeny, to be engaged in the direct creation of this fortress.
Excellent knowledge of historical realities, saturation with little-known facts about the activities of the German special services and research centers, intriguing plot twists and an easy storytelling style - all this allows the author, laureate of many literary awards, to create his stories informative and exciting.
