The monograph represents a complex investigation into modern attempts to interpret a literary work through its author. The book is focused on the analysis of major trends in the research on the problems of the theory of author and artistic activity carried in the XIXth-XXth centuries. The high emphasis is given to the theory of author put forward by B.O.Korman and his school of thought.
