The novel consists of hypothetical dialogues, actually philosophical disputes: Stepan Bandera with the investigator, who has more reasons to be called a Ruthenian than his arrester; with the ghost of the restless Iarema Wyshnivetskyi, who comes to see a lyrical hero in a Polish prison; with the imaginary Andrii Melnyk and Iakov Dzhugashvili and Oleg Olzhych... Finally - a conversation-story about the personal tragedy of the perpetrator of Bandera's murder and the fact that the destinies of all the strong and lonely ones coincide in a strange (or usual?) way.
