The monograph, being based on the analysis of wide range of archival sources and regulatory documents, presents the results of a study of state-confessional politics in the south of the Western Siberia in the late 1917 – the middle of the 1960-s. The influence of the state religious policy on the positions of the followers of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, Old Believers, Catholic Protestants and Muslim Communities is considered.
