This monograph presents the history and activity of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Poland in the years 1850-1959. It was established on the initiative of Blessed Frederick Ozanam in 1833 in Paris. In Poland, the first conferences were established in 1848 in Silesia, then in 1850 in Greater Poland and in 1858 in Galicia. In the Russian Partition, the first conference was established only in 1906.
