In the first half of September 2014 Dushanbe city will host a meeting of the Council of Heads of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States, which is a major political event both regionally and globally. During the presidency of the Republic of Tajikistan with the strong support of member states, the tangible results in key focus areas of SCO have been achieved. According to developed Plan of actions of Tajikistan presidency of the SCO, the country underwent a series of major events at the level of leadership and experts from relevant ministries and departments of the SCO member states, who have made a significant contribution to the progressive development of the Organization
and enhancing its international prestige.
