The volume contains two books: the novel The Script (2018), which won the author the Anasoft Litera award (awarded by the professional jury for the most valuable literary prose work of the year), and the essay "Seeing Music and Other Essays" (2003). The books originated in a fifteen-year period, varying in genre and scope, but having several connecting moments: in particular, it is the theme of music, others are reflections on the relationship of literature and reality or the author's (translator's) subject to the text, and also the meaning of music, literature (art) in human survival.
