The author conducts a thorough study of the Russian-Swedish literary relations in the late XVIIth-XVIIIth centuries. Much attention is paid to the analysis of translated writings, works in foreign languages - Swedish or Russian, as well as to similar literary phenomena and the texts that include reviews of the "neighboring people’s" pieces of literature.
