The monograph represents the importance of translating textbooks from German into Slovene at the time of shaping the cultural and national identity of Slovene. The participation of many of the more important educators and schoolchildren of that time in translating and coaching textbooks with state and provincial school authorities shows that they wanted to spread knowledge and new insights.
