The monograph covers risks, i.e. negative consequences of human activities or social costs of societal existence. The risks of transformation of Russian society are viewed through the prism of actual culture, which specifies the whole human behavior. From the above perspective, sustainable characteristics of mentality, specificity of traditional culture and processes of transformation of culture are viewed as the factors, which give rise to diverse risks.
