In this book, renowned Bulgarian journalist Anna Zarkova presents the country's chief prosecutors of the post-Cold War period of democratic development (since 1992): Ivan Tatarchev, Nikola Filchev, Boris Velchev, Sotir Tsatsarov and Ivan Geshev. As in all other books by Zarkova, there is nothing contrived about "The Prosecutors General". The leaders of the Bulgarian prosecution service appear in the book the way Zarkova saw, heard and documented them in her work as a journalist. She leaves it to readers to judge them on their deeds and words, according to those charged and those acquitted.
