The book is devoted to the philosophy of Kant and in particular the attitude to it in Russia. It is based on extensive historical materials (archival data, a wide range of Russian magazines, historical evidence) and shows that the rejection of Kantianism in Russia although was influential, but never dominated, and rather coexisted with a variety of attempts to assimilate it and develop.
