In the book, on the basis of documents, a significant part of which was first published by the author, the biography of Frantishek Malevsky, a graduate of Vilna University, a member of the society of philomats, and his closest friend Adam Mickiewicz, is reconstructed. It describes the path from a student to a major official, tells the story of his family and the people with whom fate brought him together. This is the first biography of Frantishek Malevsky.
