At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the approximately ten-kilometer stretch of the lower reaches of the Vyatka River, a left tributary of the Western Dvina, contained six waterworks. The most famous of them is a paper mill (later a mill, then a hydroelectric power plant) in the factory settlement (settlement) of Mezhrechcha. This publication, illustrated with exclusive photographs, is dedicated to the history of its emergence and changes in production profiles and, accordingly, the transformations of the name.
