The issue of the sacred mission of the Ukrainian Orthodoxy in the conditions of the challenges of modern civilization, the real problems of the social teaching of Christianity, certain fragments of the history of the Orthodox Churches of Ukraine (the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine) are highlighted, taking into account the specifics of religious pluralism of Ukraine. The issues of theology, catechization, missiology, and social service were analyzed.
