This three-volume series is the International Working Group's edition. It draws on hitherto unpublished and rare sources to present a comprehensive documentary history of the Menshevik Party, a moderate wing of Russian Social Democracy, in the years immediately following the Bolshevik seizure of power. On the basis of documentation from eight Russian and foreign archives as well as rare contemporary publications and local newspapers, the three volumes (1918, 1919-1920, 1921-1924) bring together materials about resolutions of the party's central and regional bodies, as well as personal correspondence of leaders and members.
