The monograph summarizes materials on the economic development of the ancient cities of the Turov land in the 10th – 13th centuries, revealed by archaeological studies of central and southern Belarus (Turov, Pinsk, Berestye, David-Gorodok, Kletsk, Slutsk, Rogachev, Mozyr). Long-term studies with a wide area have created a convincing new base for a high assessment of the level of economic development of the southern and central regions of modern Belarus, which has become the basis for the political, social and cultural development of the Turov land.
