The monograph presented by Hasan Hasanov is the first attempt of a comprehensive interdisciplinary study of the Baku Maiden Tower, the Baku idyllic complex, the complex of Gobustan's unique rock paintings. The essay presents a completely new concept that is based on the confession of the many hidden meanings of the Maiden Tower. The author proves completely unreliable versions of earlier versions (the Maiden Tower, probably a medieval building of VI-XII centuries, a defensive or an eye-castle, and correspondence to Zoroastrianism in terms of outlook), and convincing arguments in favor of its point of view.
