The collective monograph is devoted to the interpretation of archaeological sources on the ancient and medieval history of the North of Western Siberia, obtained as a result of excavations of a settlement in the middle reaches of the Lemya River in the upper reaches of the Konda. The sections publish and interpret archaeological materials of the Neolithic, Eneolithic, Middle Bronze, Early Iron and Middle Ages. Special attention is given to the results of the traceological study of quartz as a raw material and quartz tools with traces of wear. This is the first study of the stone industries of Konda in the format of evidence-based experimental-traceological interpretation. The book will be useful to archaeologists, ethnographers, and anyone interested in the ancient history of Western Siberia.
