The new book of Boris Khersonsky is the fruit of many years of work and the author’s deep interest in the era of the so-called "Dark Middle Ages", which, according to Stanislav Jerzy Lec, happens in every century. Many of the verses seem to throw a bridge between the events of past centuries and modernity, no less dark and tragic.
