The memoirs by V. Nasedkin were first published in 1927 in Moscow and are one of the rare and best editions about the great Russian lyric poet. They tell about the last dramatic period of the mundane and creative existence of Sergey Yesenin when he being a 30-year-old poet was perceived by contemporaries as a living classic. The book was prohibited for a long time as its author died in GULAG.
