"The Report on the Activities of the Siberian Flotilla", written by its last commander, Rear Admiral G.K. Stark and published in this edition, is a valuable historical source containing a significant amount of unique information not only on the history of the Siberian Flotilla in 1920-1924, but also in general on the events of the Civil War in the Far East of this period, as well as on the Far Eastern Exodus of 1922-1923, for the 100th anniversary of which this book was being prepared. The publication of the is supplemented by a biographical essay about G.K. Stark, written using archival materials, including those previously not introduced into scientific circulation, as well as the memoirs of other participants in the events, articles covering little-known aspects of the Far Eastern Exodus and lists of ranks of the Siberian Flotilla.
