The collection of articles is devoted to different aspects of the belles-lettres language typical for the literature of the XXth century. Word formation, interrelation of tropes, functions of tropes in a belles-lettres text are carefully examined. The materials collected in the book discover the dynamics in the belles-lettres language, interrelation of different stylistic systems and comprise analysis of the language and style of the poets and prose writers of that period (A.Blok, A.Bely, O.Mandelstam, B.Pasternak, V.Nabokov and others).
