This remarkably illustrated book tells about Peterhof, the suburban residence of the Russian emperors and its history. This edition contains results of three valuable researches. The first one was published in the magazine “Treasures of Russia” in 1902, the second one is a unique “Inventory of the artistic value objects” (1885), and the last one, called “A Historical outline of St.Petersburg and its suburbs” was written by an outstanding historian and published in 1913.
