The author researches into stylistic, semantic and regional peculiarities of predator's image in the plastic arts of the nomads of the Middle Asia basing on a broad range of sources obtained as a result of archeological dig on the territory of Eurasian subcontinent over a 100-year period. E.S.Bogdanov compiled a catalogue (over 750 pictures), which helped him to reveal the origin of basic iconographic schemes in predators' images as well as to determine some of the general development trends in Scythian-Siberian art. A separate section deals with psychology of creativeness, mythological and social-psychological peculiarities of ancient nomad societies of the "eastern province" of the Scythian world.
