The book explores for the first time the source study aspect of the homiletic heritage of St. Luke of the Tambov period (1944–1946). Homiletics is the science of church preaching, and source studies is the science of historical sources that studies the system of relations between a person - a work - a person. Thus, through homiletics, that is, through his sermons, St. Luke revealed himself as a preacher, as a healer of human souls and as a shepherd, which was studied and transmitted in the present book.
