The book features 200 images of the apostles Peter and Paul from churches, monasteries and museums in Bulgaria and around the world. Most of the images are from Mount Athos, Rome and Sicily but there are also photos taken in Syria, Israel, Georgia, Armenia and the Cappadocia region in Turkey. The bilingual (Bulgarian and English) book includes an introduction in Greek. It was published with the blessing of Archimandrite Philotheus, the prior of the Karakallou Monastery in Mount Athos, the monastic state in northern Greece.
