The collection contains the materials of the debate of the 1960-ies concerning the authenticity of "The Lay of Igor's Warfare". The debate was initiated by the hypothesis of a famous historian A. Zimin according to which "The Lay" was not created in the XIIth, but in the XVIIIth century. The basis of the collection forms the transcript of the three-day discussion of the initial A. Zimin’s monograph at the Department of History of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in May, 1964.
