Facts and events, the system of social protection of people with hearing impairments in Belarus. Founded in August 1931. The deaf, deaf and dumb, hearing impaired from the age of 16 were taken. In the BSSR, as of January 1979, there were 6 regional, 11 inter-district, more than 300 primary organizations. The company had 10 training and production enterprises in Baranovichi, Bobruisk, Borisov, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev, Orsha, the Palace of Culture in Minsk, three Houses of Culture, clubs, red corners, libraries. The society organized lip reading circles. Archives and historical documents are included.
