For the first time in the Russian scientific literature, the monographs underwent a systematic analysis: about 90 treaty letters with arbitration clauses concluded in the XIV-XVI centuries by Russian princes; 5 arbitration records of the XVI – XVII centuries; more than 240 regulations governing arbitration proceedings in Russia in the XVII - early XX centuries, as well as 96 decisions of the arbitration courts, the Governing Senate and the State Council for arbitration proceedings of the XVI - early XX centuries. In addition, more than 60 normative acts have been studied, providing for the admissibility of creating exchange arbitration commissions (specialized arbitration courts) to resolve disputes arising in the course of exchange activity, and more than 20 international normative acts concluded or ratified by Russia, fixing the formation of international arbitration courts and the resolution procedure in of interstate disputes.
