This book is a new edition of a historical work written by a prominent Yakut historian G.P.Basharin in 1946-1949. Now it is edited in full volume. To publish this book the author analyzed more than 15 thousand of documents from Yakutsk, Moscow, Leningrad, and Irkutsk archives. A great event was a discovery of famous “Extractions about Yasashnye”, one of the most significant sources on the history of agrarian relations in Yakutia in the XVIIIth – the beginning of the XIXth centuries. These extractions were considered to be lost at the end of the XIXth century.
