For the first time, this book about the famous brothers who received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously was published in 1962, 20 years after their feat. In 2025, it will be republished by our publishing house for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the 110th anniversary of the birth of Evgeny Ignatov and the 100th anniversary of the birth of his younger brother Gennady. The author of the book is a Kuban writer, participant of the Great Patriotic War P. K. Ignatov, father, commander and witness of the death of the heroic brothers.
