The book tells about the role and participation in the creation and development of the Evenk National District as an independent administrative-territorial unit and an economic entity in the mighty Krasnoyarsk Territory of hundreds of envoys from different parts of the country, as well as the indigenous people of Evenkia themselves, who distinguished themselves most in their areas of work.
