Ukrainian historian Mykola Doroshko analyzes the genocidal wars waged against us, Ukrainians, by our incoming neighbors over the past hundred years, those who stole our people's own name, the name of the state "Rus", appropriated our history, passing it off as its own, and have been methodically destroying us for more than a year as the main and last competitors in the struggle for the legacy of the Kyivan Rus' state.
Lenin's wars against Ukrainian national governments in 1917–1920 were wars to destroy the statehood of the Ukrainian people. Stalin's wars against Ukrainian peasants and the cultural elite of the Ukrainian nation became wars to destroy Ukrainian identity. Putin's wars against independent Ukraine since 2014 are aimed at the "final solution of the Ukrainian question." The author is convinced that all these wars can be considered genocidal, that is, those aimed at the destruction of Ukrainian statehood and the Ukrainian political nation.
