The edition presents materials which reflect the formation of the system of local self-government in Vologda region in terms of transformation of Russian social, political and economic system. Most of the materials refer to the period since the beginning of 1990’s to January 1, 2006, when the region started full realization of the Federal law "On General Principles of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation".
