On September 17 (November 29 in a new style), 1887 Yalta celebrated its half-century anniversary. Vladimir Antonovich Rybitsky court councilor, honorary magistrate and mayor, with the support of several volunteers, prepared the first book about Yalta for this day.
The publication used the text of a unique copy of the book from the collection of the Yalta Historical and Literary Museum.
