This monograph introduces into scientific circulation the results of comprehensive research conducted at the Ekaterinovsky Cape ground burial site. Between 2013 and 2018, an area of 318 square meters was excavated at the site, where 101 burials were studied. The significance of this material extends far beyond the Samara region; it is already being used in the work of not only Russian but also international researchers.
The present publication contains information on all the investigated burials, the main categories of burial inventory, the results of anthropological, paleogenetic, and soil science studies, as well as the findings of the technical and technological analysis of the site’s ceramics.
