The October revolution, Civil war, Great Patriotic war, post-war time – these are long years of existence of the best-known division named after Dzerzhinsky of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The warriors of the division destroyed hundreds of bandits, took prisoners tens of the fields commanders of Chechen separatists, took part in suppression of the riot in Sukhumi pretrial detention center and liberation of the hostages of the “Nord-Ost” in Moscow, as well as a number of other special operations.
