The book presents translation of the major work by the early Christian author Lucius Caelius Lactantius “The Divine Institutions” being the first attempt to formulate the pivotal principles of Christianity in Latin. On the one hand, it comprises polemics with adherents of paganism and systematic critics of various schools of ancient philosophy, and on the other hand - the establishing of the underpinnings of the Christian doctrine, based on the divine revelation.
