The book brings the reader facts about the history of the Roman Catholic Church in Martin in roughly two storylines. The first one tells about the church buildings that preceded the present church and then it deals with the origin and development of the church that exists today. At the same time, it presents hitherto unknown facts about architectural relationships and a dimensional analysis of the building, while also describing the historical development of the interior.
