In his monograph professor Oleksa Myshanytch shows the negative influence on public, cultural and political life of Ukraine such a movement as "Karpatorusinstvo" ("The Carpathian-Russian Movement"), traced back its roots and connected its origin with the attempts of some external and internal anti-Ukrainian circles to undermine the unity of the Ukrainian nation.
