The book is devoted to victims subjected to political repressions in the 1930-1950s. Butovo range is an execution and burial place of over 20 thousand people. This is an official death rate but the total number of victims might be a lot more. Part I of the book deals with historical description of Butovo, first mentioned in the XVIth century. A great deal of narration is devoted to common and prominent people whose life ended on Butovo range. Part II contains articles about some victims of political repressions and children who became orphans after their parents’ death. Issue 7 is also available.
