The Zakamskaya Line is a Russian fortified line in the Trans-Volga region, built in 1652-1655 to protect the developed areas of the Russian state from the raids of Kalmyk and Nogai feudal lords. It stretches from the Volga River to the Ika is a left tributary of the Kama River, in the modern territories of the Ulyanovsk region and the Tatar ASSR.
