It is a book of an outstanding Valery Shejmovich. He was born in 1937 in Moscow. He has worked as instrument geologist on Kamchatka for almost all his life. His narratives, stories and sketches were published in the journals “Frienship of Peoples”, “Ogonyok”, in the publications of Belorus, Israel. Among his collections of narratives, stories and sketches are “Compartment” (2000), “The Vein of Sorrow” (2001), “Israeli Commentaries (2001), “Youth Trips” (2002), “The Roses of Bukhara”.
