The authors of the book center on nine railway stations of Moscow: Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Kievsky, Belorussky, Rizhsky, Paveletski, Savelovsky and Kursky railway stations. The book also acquaints its readers both with new and old Moscow stations. The best Russian architects and engineers were involved in the stations designing. The book tells not only about different architectural styles of the stations, but also about the construction process. It includes history of Moscow outskirts, where new buildings were erected, as well as the pictures of the old stations, which do not exist any more, and a photo gallery of the modern time. The book also comprises the unrealized projects of the Kazansky station painting.
