During almost all of 2022 the writer IEvhenia Kononenko very briefly, sometimes in a few words, recorded the events of her private life and the war in Ukraine. Because on February 24 and a month later, she stayed in Kyiv, until at the end of March she decided to leave her native home with her terminally ill daughter. It's scary to stay, it's scary to go, an invitation from France. So the author ended up staying at the apartment of a writer friend. The tragedies of big History and small private life are intertwined, hope and despair merge between the lines, and although IEevhenia Kononenko's "That Crazy Year" is written like a novel, all the events and vicissitudes in this story are real.
