Laco Teren, one of our most distinctive [Slovak] contemporary painters, has for years devoted himself to other joys of life besides painting - music, literature, food, thinking and writing. In its book edition, Dennik N has decided to publish a collection of more than a hundred of his texts and previously unpublished sketches. Teren's Workbook also includes previously unpublished iPad drawings, selected from several thousand by photographer Tana Hojcova, Teren's wife. Teren's Writing will be published on the occasion of the finissage (19 January 2020) of the painter's major retrospective at the National Gallery of Art in an edition of 1000 copies.
