The book tells about the history of the names of the villages of the Repyevsk region, their ethnography, provides statistics on the population, education and life of 14 parishes of rural churches. The book reflects events for the period 1800-1990. The publication was prepared on the basis of historical and archival documents, information from the declassified fund of the Commissioner for the Russian Orthodox Church under the Council of Ministers of the USSR for the Voronezh region, materials from other archival funds stored in the state archive of the Voronezh region.
