Each Orthodox church is unique in its own way and is not like any other. Tsarist Russia at the peak of its spirituality consisted of 65,000 temples, churches, and parishes. After the February Revolution of 1917, most of them were destroyed. The clergy also repeated the fate of the temples. Many priests were shot, tortured, sent to prison. And the consequence of this was the spiritual fall of a huge state.
Today in modern Russia there is an active restoration, restoration and construction of new churches.
