Based on unique archival materials, the book is devoted to urgent and little studied problem of Ukrainian history: 'Alcoholic Policy and Sobriety Movement in Western Ukraine in the XIXth - the 30s of the XXth Century'. The role of 'alcoholic factor' in Ukrainian history is analyzed. Realization of the alcoholic policy in Galychyna and other Ukrainian regions is reflected.
